The Yearbook Project

What is The Yearbook Project?

As we’re all very opinionated people—and extremely outspoken about it—we’ve set up a section here on InRO to share those opinions, in list form. The Yearbook Project in truth began several years ago, when this site’s three founding editors—each rather obsessed with list-making—vowed to consume as many films and albums from the past ten years as they could, and to come up with their own ‘best of’ lists for every year of the last decade. With the site’s expansion came an even bigger goal—our two 100 Best of the Decade Lists—but the Yearbook Project remained a priority, both as a means for our readers to measure each writer’s individual taste, and perhaps as a way to attract traffic (these lists tend to do just that). And now, after much consideration, here they are.
